While Peter Forsberg played for a total of three different organizations he made his biggest impact while playing for the Colorado Avalanche. In his first season, while the organization was still the Quebec Nordiques he won the Calder Memorial Trophy for Rookie of the Year. When the organization moved to Colorado the following year to become the Avalanche Forsberg would win his first Stanley Cup title while posting a career high in points during the season with 116 points. Forsberg would win another Stanley Cup championship during the 2000-2001 season and win an Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophy during the 2002-2003 season, all with the Avalanche. While Forsberg would leave the Avalanche after the 2003-2004 season to play for the Flyers and then the Predators he would return briefly to Colorado where he would eventually score his final regular season and postseason goals back with the organization he started with.
